The European Environment Agency (EEA) calls for further knowledge for action and specific targets in Europe’s sustainable goals achievements

In its article of October 14th, called “Europe’s sustainability agenda needs knowledge for action and more concrete targets to achieve its ambitions” the EEA explains that Europe should pursue some knowledge innovation to achieve the realize European Green Deal’s objectives.

Several methods through which Europe is trying to fight the roots of unsustainability, or to foster the accomplishment of certain goals, present some knowledge gaps in some fields, such as those related to marine species, quality of materials, and ecosystem conditions.

The article underlines that a transformational change in every realm is a key factor in the development of the decision-making process and the speeding up of the creation of new methods to enhance the sustainability transition.
